Copper engraving by R. Benning depicting the Battle of Rossbach fought during the Seven Years War where Frederick the Great of Prussia defeated an allied army composed of French, Holy Roman and Austrian forces. The battle is considered one of his greatest strategic masterpieces due to his use of rapid movement to surprise the enemy.
