Copper engraving by R. Benning depicting the Battle of Kolin during the Seven Years War whch saw 44.000 Austrians under Count von Daun defeat 32,000 Prussians under Frederick the Great. This was Frederick's first defeat in the war, losing nearly 14,000 men. "Rascals, would you live forever?" - Frederick the Great, to the hesitating Guards, Battle of Kolin.
