Etching by Israel Sylvestre (1621-1691) plate 5 from a series of 12 published in Vues d'Italie. by Pierre Marsette, Paris 1640-1660.

Born in Nancy in 1621, Sylvestre made several trips to Italy from about 1640 to 1653, producing a large number of fine etchings.
