Etching showing the carved bench end in Wendens Ambo Church. The carving of a boar distracted by a mirror illustrates a legend of the Tigress and the mirror from the Book of Beasts. The Christian moral being that the devil casts illusions of pleasure to win our souls.
Light spotting to paper edges, generally outside the plate area.
