Portrait of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (2 October 1869 - 30 January 1948).
Signed by the artist in Sanskrit.
Five signatures verso, mostly illegible Indian names but include M. Venkatiswara Rao (probably relating to the founder of the firm of tobacco exporters in Hyderabad).
No date but c.1960.
Some light creasing. Folds at edges with some short tears to folded line not affecting image. Light toning at edges mainly verso. Paper size 28x38cm. Image size 23x30cm.
A fine original pencil sketch by a competent Indian artist.
