James Brindley (1716-1772) English engineer born in Tunstead Derbyshire. One of the most notable engineers of the 18th century, Brindley built 365 miles of canals and many watermills.
Hand coloured. Water stain to page top and some light foxing aroud paper edges not affecting the printed area.
