18mo. (10 x 14.5cm.) Original half calf, marbled boards, gilt ruled bands to spine, gilt red leather label. Engraved title. Explanatory title. 3pp Preface. Explanation. 355pp Itinerary of the roads in two columns. 60pp Index. Population of London. Fold-out map of England and Wales: A New Map of England & Wales adapted to Mogg’s Pocket Itinerary. London, Published May 1.st 1826 by E. Mogg, No. 14, Great Russell Street, Covent Garden. 5pp Advertisements for publications by Mogg. Directions to the binder. 

Surface wear to boards. Slight cracking at spine but binding firm. Ink manuscript date to front fixed endpaper; June 10 th 1826. Light spotting to free endpapers and title, otherwise generally clean throughout. Folding map with short closed tear at intersection with binding just reaching the printed border of the map otherwise fine condition. A very good copy from the first edition of 1826 in neat original binding.
