Paper edges a little grubby but with wide margins  the map is not affected though there are a couple of stains at New Zealand and off the coast of South America. There is a closed tear at bottom centre just reaching the engraved area but the map is without centrefold and remains a good looking map.
Includes original page of text description with chronology of discoveries and list of places.
