Aquatint after a painting by Luigi Mayer (1755-1803) Italian-German artist, close friend of Sir Robert Ainslie, British Ambassador to Turkey who commissioned most of his paintings of the Ottoman Empire.

Some light creasing, mostly to margins, otherwise a fine rare aquatint in original hand colour.
