Transfer printed map on a 22cm. porcelain plate with floral and gilt decoration surround.
The plate is unmarked but known to be produced by Coalport in Staffordshire around 1835.
The map on the transfer is unsigned but is closely based on the first two editions of the map by James Wallis published in 1812 and 1814 with some place names omitted.
This rare plate is undamaged in very good condition with only light wear to gilding at the edges.
