Copper enraving by John Rogers (1800?-1882) after a sketch by Nathaniel Whitlock.
John Rogers was a prolific engraver probably best known for his fine vignette illustrations on the maps by John Rapkin for John Tallis' Illustrated Atlas of the World 1851.

Fine engraving in good hand colour but repair to loss and damage lower right corner.
