ENVIRONS DE PARIS PAR LE S.R ROBERT Geographe ordinaire du Roi. Avec Privilege 1753.
Published in Atlas Universel by Gilles and Didier Robert de Vaugondy from 1757.
Gilles Robert Vaugondy (1696-1766) was a professor of mathematics who inherited the mapmaking and geographical business of Nicolas Sanson and his sons, and together with his son Didier Robert de Vaugondy (1723-1786), established the Vaugondy name in the geographical world.
A very good example on heavy paper with good margins in original hand colour.
