Plates 73 & 74. 

This is one of the few pagination or sequencing errors in the publication; the start of the route London to Rye on plate 74 appearing before the plate introducing the route on plate 75. This was not corrected until the 1764 edition

Plate 73 shows the second part of the route from London to Portsmouth showing Thursley, Hindhead, Liphook, Petersfield, Chalton, Catherington, Horndean, Cosham, Hilsea, Portsea Island, Portsmouth.
Plate 74 shows the first part of the route from London to Rye showing London, New Cross, Lewisham, Bromley, Farnborough, Riverhead, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge.
