A View of the Hills near Ashdon, in Essex, raised over ye bodies of those slain in a battle fought there.
Copper engraving pubished in A New Display of the Beauties of England !776-1777 showing Roman Tumuli which were thought, at the time of this engraving, to be funeral mounds over bodies created after the Battle of Ashingdon in 1016.
