Engraved by John Crane Dower (1791?-1847) from a drawing by E.I. Smith, first published in a parts issue in May 1830 and in Moule's English Counties Delinteated..London George Virtue 1837. The plate was used in further editions until 1839 and in issues of Barclay's Universal English Dictionary until 1857.
Very good example in fine hand colour published from 1842 in an edition of Barclay's Dictionary.
