Farleigh Castle, Hungerford, was the likely inspiration for Jane Austin's novel, Northanger Abbey.

The engraver, James Sargant Storer (1771-1853) artist, draughtsman and engraver, was born in London, the son of Robert Storer, watch and clockmaker, and his wife Sarah. He collaborated with John Greig on a series of antiquarian and topographical works. He retired by 1841, and is recorded in 1851 living in Islington with three children, a domestic servant and a nurse.
Title close to binding edge, otherwise good.
