Etching of a country scene by noted French etcher Georges Garen (1854-1912) after a painting by Theodore Rousseu (1812-1867)
A very fine large and detailed etching printed in dark sepia ink on a fine vellum sheet.
Vellum is capable of showing sharper detail than paper. 
Slight toning to the vellum but in fine condition with hand drawn sketch of a bird in bottom margin.
