Optical print engraved by Balthasar Frederic Leizelt (fl.1750-1800) designed to be viewed through a Zograscope, an optical device of convex lens and mirror which produced an illusion of depth.

Edges trimmed and some overall marking from use and handling but otherwise undamaged, unfolded and in original hand colour. An uncommon survivor.
