FEEDING POULTRY. From an Unique Impression in the Possession of H.R.Willett Esq. taken from the Lid of a Snuff Box designed & Engraved by W.Hogarth. London. Pub. May 1. 1821.
Bawdy humour showing a house maid casting grain for the chickens into the open breaches of a sleeping farm worker. Some light spotting outside the plate area and a waterstain to right paper edge 4cm. from plate mark. From the Heath edition of 1822. Due to the controversial nature of the subject the print was issued loose in a "secret" pocket in the back board of the volume.
