Lithograph printed map first issued as a loose sheet by the Ordnance Survey as an Index map of Hertfordshire in 1888. This edition, signed by Lt. Col. Robert Owen Jones R.E. and listed as the fourth lithographic transfer in Hodson, has been amended and overprinted in green and red to show proposed boundary changes to Parish Unions and to the county boundary for the Report of the Boundary Commissioners of England and Wales later the same year.
