Finely engraved by Thomas Foot, this large map is a reduction of the original survey and map by William Yates printed on six sheets and published in 1775. Published by William Faden (1749-1836), geographer to King George III.
Folds as usual with offsetting, archival re-inforcement to fold interestions verso but otherwise undamaged and in full wash hand colour. Heavy paper, strong dark impression, large margins. A lovely example of a fine, detailed and uncommon map.
