Henri Abraham Chatelain (1684-1743) was a Dutch cartographer who lived in Paris, London [c.1710], The Hague [c.1721] and Amsterdam [c.1728], and is best known for this publication, a huge seven volume work containing mainly geographical engravings and descriptions but including historical, genealogical and historical information.

Repair to lower centrefold split into text description otherwise very good in fine hand colour.
