William Wigginton (1826-1890) Born in Eton, he worked in Derby and Dudley before moving to London in 1860. He designed several Gothic revival churches in London often using coloured brickwork as this, his design for St. Mary's National School building in Wathamstow built in 1866. Still in use today on Orford Road though no longer a school and looking a little unloved.
Two closed tears to top edge just reaching printed border and some printed text offsetting from adjacent page otherwise good hand coloured print from the Building News for August 1866.
