Complete route of the road commencing from High Barnet on the London to Holyhead road and passing through Hadley, Potters Bar, Bell Bar, Hatfield, Welwyn, Woolmer Green, Broadwater, Stevenage, Graveley, Baldock, Norton, Radwell, Stotfold, Astwick, Edworth, Biggleswade, Lower Caldecote, Northill, Sandy, Girtford, Tempsford, Roxton, Eaton Socon, St Neots, Little Paxton, Hail Weston, Great Staughton, Kimbolton, Catworth, Brington, Old Weston, Clopton, Titchmarsh, Pilton, Wadenhoe, Achurch, Stoke Doyle, Benefield, Deenethorpe, Deene, Laxton, Seaton, Glaston, Preston, Wing, Manton, Egleton, and ending at Oakham.
Fine early example from the first un-numbered edition of 1675, subsequently numbered plate 45.
Decorative hunting cartouche. Light printers crease left of centre-fold but not obtrusive. Clean, undamaged, no tears or repairs, in fine later hand colour. Large paper, fleur de lis watermark, generous margins. Includes original page of typeset text description of the route.
