PONT-DU-GARD about Four Leagues from Nismes a Stately Antiquity | One Hundred and Eighty Six Feet high from the AA to the Top of the Aqueduct BB.
Copper engraving by Emanuel Bowen  (c.1693-1767) for Navigantium atque itinerantium bibliotecha by John Harris published 1744-1748.
Two closed tears to paper margin and diagonal crease in margin top right corner but not affecting the printed area which is a clean and presentable early print of the Roman aqueduct built in the first century A.D. to supply the Roman settlement of Nemasmus, present day Nimes, from a spring at Uzes.
