Steel line and stipple engraving by Robert Hicks (fl.1800-1836) from a drawing by James Basire (1730-1802) showing the Ribchester Helmet, a Roman bronze ceremonial helmet dating between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD now held in the British Museum.
