Original calf, gilt tooled border, gilt tooled spines, labels remaining to volume 2. Boards and spine worn and scuffed, boards starting to split from spine but holding. Volume one lacking labels. Contents very good, all plates are clean and undamaged. Maps are pasted to the edge of a blank page at the back of each volume to allow maps to be viewed while reading the text and are all clean and undamaged. A good original copy, very good internally.
