Flyer for appeal for funds (£2,000) to construct the church designed by J T Newman and W. Jacques in 1889.
The appeal must have proved of some success as the church was subsequently built to a very similar design though lacking some of the decorative refinements.
The church, now named St Margaret with St Columba, now stands in Woodhouse Road, Leytonstone.
