Rare. First issues. The first carto-bibliography of the county by Sir H. G. Fordham published in four parts, the first part published October 1901, 2nd; April 1903, 3rd; October 1905 & 4th; September 1907. This set were Donald Hodson's copy (author of the second carto-bibliography of Hertfordshire maps, the 'Bible' to Hertfordshire map collectors), and have the penciled signature of Donald Hodson and his penciled notes and corrections. Parts two, three and four also have a dedication in Fordham's hand on the covers. Original paper wraps 3 vols with sellotape repairs 2 with covers detached.
